Thanksgving being one if not the largest festival in the American calendar was celebrated in the classrooms of LiMai’s LiShuiQiao Campus. Featuring the usual festivities it was both an enjoyable and Educational affair.
Thanksgiving Day
Whilst, thanksgiving is traditionally a historical event on the calendar, to celebrate the pilgrims surviving their first year on the North American continent, it also symbolises the spirit of thankfulness amongst family and friends. It is often marked by families gathering and telling each other what they are thankful for over the past year. Here at LiMai we also committed to this spirit with some classrooms preparing a thankfulness tree on which the children wrote what they were thankful for. Others produced crafts and games, while some told the story of Thanksgiving.
We all have something to be thankful for and at LiMai we are thankful for the continued support of parents and joy of children we experience here on a daily basis.
